This tiny American Viticultural Area (AVA) is situated on the ancient Walla Walla River bed, where softball-sized cobbles extend more than 300 feet into the earth. This unique geology requires the vines to reach deep into the terroir in search of water. The combination of deep rooting and radiant heat from the rocks during ripening results in wines that are bold and structured on the palate.
A wild expression of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, this single-block (Jordan's Block) 2018 vintage shines with bright acidity and soft tannin. Light on the palate with notes of black cherry, raspberry, cedar, and spring herbs lurking around the edges.
